Founded at a time when women were just barely being allowed to enter college, Sigma Kappa began when the first 5 women accepted to Colby College met and shared their ideals. Since then, this sorority has grown to over 120 active collegiate chapters across more than 35 states, with more than 177,000 initiated women worldwide. With values in Friendship, Loyalty, Service and Personal Growth, the members of Sigma Kappa are empowered through lifelong connections.
