Founded during a particularly harsh winter in 1848, Phi Delta Theta was created by six young men who were seeking like-minded brothers and colleagues. Now, with more than 190 chapters and 270,000 initiated men, the principles of friendship, advanced education and morally strong ideals have helped thousands become the greatest version of themselves. Diversity is recognized and it is emphasized that uniqueness is important to increase ones strengths, and improves their weaknesses.
