Founded: October 13, 1870 Monmouth College in Illinois
Motto: Dream Boldly. Live Fully.
Founded shortly after the end of the Civil War, before women even had full rights to vote or hold office, six courageous young women from Monmouth College founded Kappa Kappa Gamma with the dream of creating leaders, founders and inspiring young women. Now, over 140 years later, partnering with several other fraternities and sororities through the National Panhellenic Conference, Kappa Kappa Gamma has donated over 500,000 hours of community service and raised more than $5 million to charitable and worthy causes.
