Delta Upsilon is a unique fraternity in many ways; first and foremost is it’s open-book ideals of keeping nothing secret. Originally founded due to concerns of other fraternities placing members in positions of power that they were not qualified for, 30 men gathered in 1834 to form this open fraternity. Since then, Delta Upsilon has continued the tradition of keeping nothing secret, being the first fraternity to allow the public to know of the initiation ritual.

Striving for excellence in academics and to build better men, they are not stuck in the past and bring a modern experience to all brothers of Delta Upsilon.
