Alpha Sigma Tau, founded during the initial sorority movement in the late 1800s, was created as a way to empower and grow the accomplishments and self-confidence of women. The organization is proud to support not just the growth of the sorority and its sisters, but also the diversity and culture of colleges and universities as well.

Now, with 83+ collegiate chapters and over 65,000 members, empowered women are able to empower women. As well as creating lifelong relationships, Alpha Sigma Tau fosters life skills and promotes the ideal of creating a lasting legacy.
