Alpha Phi Gamma is the first sorority with Asian-American interest founded at Cal State Polytechnic. Although the organization is focused on Asian awareness, its sisters believe in the importance of diversity and all nationalities are encouraged to join. Since its inception, APhiG has expanded into over ten states while still maintaining its bonds between its sisters and its values. Alpha Phi Gamma maintains the philanthropic organization “Fight Against Violence Towards Women” and is one of the first organizations to take on this very important cause.
