Founded: November 27, 1919, Oklahoma State University

Motto: Musicianship. Leadership. Service.

Founded shortly after the end of World War I, 10 young men from Oklahoma sought to create an organization that would improve the qualities of band members through leadership, integrity, honor and loyalty. With the assistance of the Director of then Oklahoma A & M University, Bohumil Makaovsky, Kappa Kappa Psi was born. With the purpose of expanding both musical and intellectual knowledge, teamwork and leadership this organization stands proud as a service and social co-ed fraternity.
